I am close to half way through this second year of my 365 project and am still enjoying it every morning. These are available for the asking...I just ask for a suggested $5 donation. When I collect a good amount, I donate it to a charity. So far, I have donated $220 to St. Vincent de Paul Society, $200 to Our Lady's Inn and now have about $250 which will go to a group in our parish that helps families dealing with cancer. Any of these mini art pieces (4"x5") that are not requested immediately, are available on my etsy site...you can see the mini shop in the right hand column of this page and the most recent ones that are available..just click on them!

Year of Giving #50

Can't believe it is day 50 of year 2 already! So far, I have given out 32 out of 50 pieces, and raised $185 for the St. Vincent de Paul Society of our parish. Some people have given more than the suggested $5 donation, while some might have forgotten to mail theirs or drop it by. It all evens out though.

In case you haven't seen this blog before..I am creating one small piece of inspirational art each day and giving them away for a small donation. I will mail them to you, and you mail me $5 or can do it through PayPal:) Those that are not spoken for on the first day, are then posted on my etsy site (also seen at right), where they can be purchased for $5, but the money still gets donated. Last year, I gave the pieces away, but wanted to change it up this year, and thought that maybe they could do some good.

Happy Valentine's Day! One more love quote and I will be on to other things:) As last year, I will send one of these small pieces (4 x 5) of original art to anyone who wants it. The difference this year, is I was hoping to raise a little money for charity. A suggested $5 donation to either St. Vincent de Paul Society that helps the poor of my parish, or to the American Cancer Society. Trying to stay with the LOVE theme for Valentine's Day...only 2 days away. I'm not usually so preoccupied with that day, but we have plans:) Going to get all dressed up and dance the night away at an old time ballroom with 30 friends...looking forward to it!

Getting in the Valentine's day spirit of LOVE:) In this new year of giving, I am still offering these to anyone who wants them, but am asking for a donation to a charity.
