Pay it forward project #99

So, this whole Pay it Forward thing has not worked out...it seems that people are much more willing to pay $5 for a piece of art that will then be donated to a charity, than to ask for a piece of art and then do something nice for someone else. The funny thing is, I thought collecting money last year would be harder....

So I am going to try a different tack based on the art giveaway recently by a local St. Louis artist...Zach Smithey. I am going to package up these little art pieces and leave them in public places, with a note explaining that they are free to a good home:) I am requesting to be contacted if they are found, but really have no expectations that it will happen. I just hope that they don't get thrown away!!

This is the explanation that will come with the artwork:

I will be starting this weekend as I travel to my son's graduation and when I come home, will start leaving them around town.
