This seemed appropriate today as I get my 20 year old ready to spend a month in Italy for an architecture class. He leaves this evening and I'm praying, anyway, for protection and for an
SAFE flight with EASY connections.

I painted some new paste paper backgrounds yesterday and even reused the backs of some old ones I just wasn't using. So now, I have about 70 new pieces to choose from and I am excited about that! It'll be nice to have alot of choices, especially when I take them on my trip....coming soon:)

Went on a little trip this past weekend to be with a couple of my boys for Mother's Day, and forgot to take my art supplies along so that I could continue my 365 project! So, on Saturday, I posted the photo on Facebook in place of one, but today added the lettering. Then this morning, also did Sunday and Monday's installments. I know that I want to try to continue these when we take our trip to Europe, and was planning on taking supplies...but it slipped my mind on this short trip:) I'm hoping that I will be able to find the time in Venice, Provence and Paris, but I know how I am on vacation....want to see it all. This time, though, we are wanting to be a little more laid back about it.

I was getting kind of tired of the same old stock of backgrounds to use, so I rooted through my files for some more painted paper to cut up. Sometimes it is hard to cut up a nice piece, but at least this way they are getting used:) As always, this is free for the asking....

Happy Valentine's Day! I chose this saying because of Valentine's day. I'm sure there are people with broken hearts out there today who could use some reassurance that they do heal, and your faith can help with that! These are lyrics from a song...and I should have paid closer attention to the artist, but I didn't so if anyone know this song, let me know!

Yesterday's posting on Facebook was snatched up within 3 minutes...actually had 2 people want it at almost the exact same time. That was kind of fun, I just hope the one who didn't get it will find another that she likes soon!

This saying is loosely based on Romans 5:8...kind of like the way it is worded. Hopefully, someone else will like it too! Cut up some more paste paper today, so will be having fun using new colors etc. Still feel like I need to make some brighter colors with more texture. Someday soon maybe!

I've always liked this saying:) Wish it were possible... Another rainy day in St. Louis..I know it is spring but this is getting ridiculous! Having furniture delivered today--wouldn't want that job in the rain...I don't even like going out in it.

Had a very thoughtful friend anonymously leave a cute cone of flowers hanging on my chair on my front porch yesterday in celebration of May Day. I didn't actually see it til this morning, but it made my day! Wish I knew who to thank!

Had to do this one over because I left out a letter! Better now, than after I had notecards printed like was pointed out to me this week. Never even saw that I had repeated the word "the" on one of my past pieces:(
