Year of Giving #161

I am close to half way through this second year of my 365 project and am still enjoying it every morning. These are available for the asking...I just ask for a suggested $5 donation. When I collect a good amount, I donate it to a charity. So far, I have donated $220 to St. Vincent de Paul Society, $200 to Our Lady's Inn and now have about $250 which will go to a group in our parish that helps families dealing with cancer. Any of these mini art pieces (4"x5") that are not requested immediately, are available on my etsy site...you can see the mini shop in the right hand column of this page and the most recent ones that are available..just click on them!

Year of Giving #116

This is part of a 365 project (year 2) where I create one small piece of art using an inspirational or faith related saying every morning. I post them on Facebook and let FB friends claim them. The ones that don't get claimed right away are listed on my etsy site: https://www.etsy.com/listing/191430413/for-jeanoriginal-art-115-from-365 .

I ask for $5 donation that will then be given to a charity when I collect a good amount. I April, I gave $225 to St. Vincent de Paul Society of our parish. In May, I gave $200 to Our Lady's Inn in St. Louis, when our prayer group volunteered there. I'm up to a little over $100 again and looking for the next charity.

Year of Giving #83

Not sure if I had much to do with it, or if I taught them all they need to know, but I sure am proud of my boys!

Year of giving #78

I used to think my house had to be perfect when I had company...but lately as long as I clean it up a bit, I don't worry so much about someone seeing something that is not perfect. I'd rather have them enjoy themselves, and me not too tired to do that as well!
